Moons 19-20 ∙ Collaborative project with writer & poet Alexandra Tse
“Moons 19-20” is an effort to create a larger body of work that focuses on the cycling of seasons and phases of the Moon; a set of pieces that would interact together, build over a year, and grow over time. The first iteration will be an oracle deck, released in early 2021.
Fusing poetry with the contrast of vibrant digital collages and stark, delicate cut paper we explored the new and full moons. Our work sought to uncover deep and often buried facets of the Zodiac, associated archetypal figures and symbolism within the astrological signs and seasons we cycle through.
